Liquid last night was really GREAT! It was great hearing all your thoughts and perspectives! I will be looking into how to fix the sound on the speakers. Sorry about that! But all in all, it was a very good night and Trey and Kirstyn did a great job of leading!

copy this into your address and it will take you to a video. Yes I know it is corny, but it will help you use visuals to memorize or teach them to your kids. We did this in Sunday school and it still to this day helps me remember!
That video was quite cheesy, but I actually really liked it. The power of being able to connect ideas to actions or phrases is a powerful learning tool. Thanks for sharing that. Honor thy father and mother!!
I need help! How do I “register” for this page?? Right now I am linked thru facebook, but am trying to figure out how to do it normally without going thru facebook.
Anyhow… I actually went home for the first time in my life and opened my Bible and read the 10 commandments. Pretty much an eye opening experience. I was aware of the obvious don’t murder, don’t steal and don’t commit adultery ones but some others grabbed me and put me in a choke hold. I am really looking forward to upcoming liquid groups and figuring out what it means to “covet thy neighbor’s wife and donkeys and what not.” It had also been really great for me as a newbie to get to put a name and persona to the faces I have been seeing in church on Sundays.
This past Liquid session was baller; the video was a big step up from the David series. I usually don’t come out of bible studies with something the chew on but I did yesterday. I do believe this exploratory of the ten commandments will be beneficial for me and those who are open to it. I’m pretty excited about the upcoming weeks!
Last night’s video on Week 2 was the best yet. I have to admit…I was stumped until I saw the picture frame which screamed “psycho”. I didn’t get to share what I liked about American Idol so here is a link to why I like to watch American Idol. Please enjoy!

I felt slightly deceived that they had us all calling that guy a cheater right away. Kinda says a lot about us as a society and how we assume people guilty of things before knowing the total truth.
I really enjoyed liquid last night, talking about taking the Lords name in vain. This isn’t just referring to using his name as a swear word, but also using his name to add credibility to things we want to do. Of course, if God IS calling you to do something, then by all means, do it! But I’m talking about the times we throw God’s name as a tag line that endorses our message.
Another thing that gets me is when someone legitimately feels like God’s called them to do something that they don’t want to do…. and they complain about it. Every time you see them. “Oh, my life is so hard because I’m faithfully doing what God’s called me to do… even thought I’d much rather do my own thing. Oh, I hate my life.”
Wow. that’s pathetic obedience. Please. Just do everything with joy.
My thoughts =)
Wow what a Group last night! I really enjoyed it! sorry I kinda started praching there, but I wish more “Christians” would take this command to heart! I think it’s really important to the almight God.
I talked about taking time out to understand the “names” that his people gave to God. I found this song on You Tube to help us enjoy listening to it! Hope you enjoy

talk about having a preacher in the room… hahahahaha just kidding… in responce to you jess…
YES, last night was AWESOME! Today I caught myself so many times doing exactly what we were talking about, and on my car ride home I was like wow… It was great to finally see it. I don’t know about you guys, but these past 3 commandments have really openned my eyes to being able to be convicted about so of the sins in my life… worshipping other Gods, using God in a way he does not intend to be used, putting things before God… i don’t know… I just love this study!!! God is so good.
Love you guys and gals!!!
