Just Walk Across the Room

Introduction: P.11-16
-Think about your testimony. Where did you meet God?
Action: Take time out and actually write out your story? How and when did you meet God? What changes did it make in your life. What was life before and after?
***Writing out your testimony will help you share it with others down the road!
Chapter 1:19-34
-Think about the “Zone of the Unknown” (P. 22) Personal evangelism really can be as easy as just walking across the room. God often does his best work when we are in this zone.
-(P.24) We take a walk across the room because ultimately Christ walked across the room for us. For a noble man a man might die, but Christ laid down his life knowing that we were sinners.
-(P. 25) Jesus didn’t condemn the woman who was living in adultery. God’s heart is one that invites someone to freedom instead of indictment. “Everyone is need of forgiveness”
-(P.27) Is the God you know full of grace and mercy and compassion? Is the God you know mysterious, surprising, captivating? Is he forever unchanging and yet always brand new? Does he inspire you with his big ideas about how your life can really count? Is he faithful? The people who find themselves taking walks across rooms have first landed on the belief that the God they know is worth knowing!
Action: Write out….Who is the god you know?
